ABOUT US:
Kevin Hadley is ordained in the CREC as a Ruling Elder. He is studying for his Masters of Divinity with Reformed Evangelical Seminary. A retired U.S. Army infantry officer, he has broad experience in combat, leadership, strategic planning, and counseling and developing leaders. He and his wife Kimberly have eight children and run a small farm business near Americus. He hold degrees from West Point and The George Washington University.
Kevin says: "Over a 21-year Army career, the Lord led our family around the country and around the world. Having moved–and joined a new church–every two years for the past two decades, we’ve been involved in some great Reformed communities. We noticed that covenantal, Calvinistic, and conservative churches are lacking in our adopted home. We started as a Bible study in 2023, and we planted our church in 2025 under the guidance of our "mother" churches in Leavenworth and Minneapolis. Come and grow with us!"

BELIEFS:
Confessions
We believe in the historic Christian faith laid down in the Ecumenical Creeds (the Apostle’s Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed). We also believe in the historic Reformed faith of the Westminster Standards (the Westminster Confession, the Larger Catechism, and the Shorter Catechism) and the Three Forms of Unity of the continental reformed (the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort).
Scripture
We believe the Bible to be the written revelation of God, complete and sufficient in all respects. We believe the Scriptures to be “God-breathed” and therefore fully authoritative in and of themselves; they rely for their authority upon no church, council, or creed, but are authoritative simply because they are the Word of God. The Scriptures, as they embody the very speaking of God, partake of His authority and His power.
God’s Sovereignty
We believe in one true and eternal God, unchanging, unchangeable. We believe God is the Creator of all that exists in heaven and in earth. The God who is described in the Bible is unique; He is unlike anyone or anything else in the entire universe. God has all power, all knowledge, all wisdom, and is due all glory, honor and praise. All that comes to pass does so at the decree of God. All things will, in the end, result in the glory of God.
God’s Deity
We believe the Bible teaches that there is but one being of God, yet there are three Persons who share this one being of God: the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. Each Person is fully and completely God, each is described in Scripture as possessing the attributes of God. The Father, Son, and Spirit have eternally existed in the relationship described by the term “Trinity.”
God’s Plan of Redemption
We believe that man was created in the image of God. Man rebelled against His Creator, and fell into sin. As a result, man became spiritually dead, totally unwilling and indeed incapable of seeking after God. God, from eternity past, having foreordained all things, joined a certain people to Christ Jesus, so that He might redeem them from their sin and in so doing bring glory to Himself. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died in the place of this elect people, providing full and complete forgiveness of sins by His death upon the cross of Calvary. No other work can provide for forgiveness of sins, and no addition can be made to the completed and finished work of Christ.
Salvation
We believe that God, in His sovereign grace and mercy, regenerates sinful men by the power of the Holy Spirit, not by any action of their own, bringing them to new life. God grants to them the gifts of faith and repentance, which they then exercise by believing in Christ and turning from their sins in love for God. As a result of this faith, based upon the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, God justifies or makes righteous the one who believes. God’s gift of faith, and the continuing work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the elect, will result in good works. These good works flow from true, saving faith; they are a necessary result of faith, but are not to be considered necessary to the gaining of justification, which is by God’s grace through faith alone, so that no man can boast.
The Church
We believe Jesus Christ established His Church, which is made up of His people of all times and places. His Church, as an obedient bride, listens to His Word as found in the Bible. All who believe in Christ, and their children, are placed in His body, the Church. The local expressions of the Church are very important, and each believer should be actively involved in such a fellowship.
The Return of Christ
We believe that Christ is coming again to judge the living and the dead. This promise is found throughout the inspired Scriptures. Until His return, believers are to live lives that bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. The Church is to be busy doing the work of evangelism and discipleship, proclaiming the pure, uncompromised Gospel of Christ by teaching the Word of God.
Distinctives:
Reformed
We subscribe to the historic creeds of the Christian faith, such as, The Apostles Creed, The Nicene Creed, The Athanasian Creed. We also subscribe to the Westminster Standards, the Confession of Faith, the Shorter Catechism, and the Larger Catechism.
Weekly Communion
The heart of biblical worship is organized around Word and sacrament. As often as we are fed by the word, we want to be fed from the Lord’s Table. Just as the worshipper in the Old Testament partook of the peace offering, so we partake of Christ’s Table when we gather.
Evangelical
“Unless one is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” John 3:3. While the outward call of gospel proclamation is universal, in order to share in the benefits of Christ’s death and resurrection, you must be born again, by the Spirit of the living God.
Psalm Singing
The Psalms contain the fullest expression of human emotion, from the highest highs to the lowest lows. They are Holy-Spirit inspired prayers, written for us to pray and sing back to God. We sing hymns also, but the Psalms provide the musical backbone to our worship.
Covenant Renewal Worship
When we gather for worship on the Lord’s Day, we are renewing our Covenant with God. We do this by following the pattern of worship commanded by God in Scripture, which is summarized in five steps, Call, Confession, Consecration, Communion, and Commission.
Biblical Sermons
When our people gather on the Lord’s Day, we do not need a pep talk, or a man to share a story. We need to hear from God. We need a herald to open the Bible and tell us what God has said. We need preaching. We need preaching that touches our heads and hearts.
Infant Baptism
Simply stated, we baptize our children, because they are Christians. They are joined to the Church through the covenantal connection of their believing parents. Throughout the Bible, children are included in God’s covenant people and this pattern continues into the New Covenant. As Jesus said, “… for to such belongs the Kingdom of God.” (Luke 18:16)
Christian Education
We believe it is the responsibility of every Christian parent (especially fathers) to provide a distinctly Christian education for their children. This means the local church should equip Christian parents to provide this education for her covenant children. It is not the State’s responsibility to educate children, but rather the parents’.
Wine in Communion
We are convinced that Jesus used wine when He established the Supper, and we do not have the authority to alter what he established. The Jews used wine in the Passover meal, and Jesus established this sacrament in that context. When Jesus offers us the cup, we don’t want to be in the position of saying, “No thanks, Jesus, I don’t drink because I’m a Christian.”
Optimism About the Future
We hold to a historic and reformed position on the end times known as Postmillennialism. We believe Christ’s Kingdom was inaugurated at his resurrection and will grow in number and influence until He returns. Things are not getting worse and worse. Rather, Christ’s Kingdom will grow until the knowledge of the Lord fills the earth as water cover the sea. (Isaiah 11:9)
Child Communion
Our children should participate in the worship service with us. They should not be segregated to “Children’s Church”, because they are members of THE Church. We baptize our children and welcome them into the church. We should also welcome them to the Lord’s Table, because His table is for His people. When we baptize our children, we identify them as members of Christ’s people.
Cultural Engagement
We believe Christians, and the local church are to have a preserving effect on society (Matthew 5:13). The church also has a prophetic role in society, bringing the Bible to bear on the moral issues of the day, like John the Baptist (Luke 3:19). We reject the distinction between “political” issues and “religious” issues. If God has spoken on an issue, so must the church.
